Water Systems Field Internship Summer 2025

Water Systems Team
Temporary/seasonal full-time

Interns will be exposed to an array of water system projects. While working with a team on assignments, you will have access to mentors of different levels of experience and exposure to various types of field service projects.

Intern Responsibilities

  • Assist with field inspections and data collection.

  • Gain knowledge of installation and maintenance of flow meters and rain gauges.

  • Gain exposure to the installation and maintaining of equipment to perform sewer surveillance.

  • Achieve understanding of the process of manhole/structure inspections.

  • Assist with smoke testing with GPS equipment.

  • Gain understanding of delivering project scope within budget and on schedule.

  • Work with team in project deliverables, including data collection and reporting.

  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Support team through quality control process.

    Education, Licensing, Certification and Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a high school, college or university, pursuing a career in the field of civil engineering or relevant trade
