Survey Team
Full-time, hourly and non-exempt position
Survey Instrument Technician Responsibilities
Assist with topographic surveying and construction staking
Learn to operate the survey equipment and support Survey Crew Chief
Adhere to all professional/technical requirements of the survey as directed by the Survey Manager
Maintain and care for the survey vehicles and equipment, including instrument calibration
Complete and maintain current OSHA-approved confined space entry certification
Assist with maintenance of vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanical soundness and productive operation
Required Skills/Abilities
Maintain accurate, legible and organized records of work completed
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work effectively in team situations and independently, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
