Survey Team | Additional Roles: Project Manager and Supervisor

As TREKK’s LiDAR Lead, you will oversee the growth, direction and overall success of our LiDAR team by marketing services, deepening client relations, mentoring staff and ensuring overall work product quality. Specific tasks will include:
LiDAR Lead Responsibilities
- Conduct business development tasks, including identifying, selling and delivering meaningful work for your team
- Leverage existing client relationships and build new ones to help solving their problems
- Focus on growing and developing staff that will allow for personal and professional fulfillment
- Support HR for the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, identify promotions and terminating of staff
- Share technical knowledge through mentoring and training staff
- Set expectations and lead team in quality control process
- Work with other Market Leads when sharing resources
- Collaborate with TREKK leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations and systems
- Establish and implement a holistic annual plan that allows your Market to reach its IMPROVING LIVES goal. Meet or exceed Market annual KPI goals
- Work with associated Service Leads to remove obstacles for your team so that we can reach our TREKK IMPROVING LIVES goal
- Knowledgeable in the operation of survey instruments, VRS based GPS equipment, robotic total station, laser scanners and data collectors and/or photogrammetry
- Process raw field data and prepare survey drawings utilizing both field locates and title work records. Must sign and seal plans as required.
Education, Licensing, Certification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Survey, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Geography or other related field required
- Professional Land Surveyor license required
- At least 10 years of survey experience
Required Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation Open Roads, AutoCAD and/or AutoDesk Civil 3D, TopoDOT, Terrasolid, Excel, Word, and Ajera is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of land surveying methods, geodetic principles, and field-to-finish workflows
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
