Highway DD Improvements

City of O’Fallon, Missouri

To meet the increasing traffic demands of new development west of I-64, the city of O’Fallon, Missouri partnered with MoDOT for this cost-share reconstruction project along 0.57 miles of Highway DD. The project, located between Technology Drive and just south of Dalriada Boulevard, is a new roadway constructed with an adjacent subdivision project. It included lane widening, new signal and roundabout design, drainage, ITS and pedestrian facilities.

As a sub-consultant, TREKK designed traffic signals with pedestrian facilities, lighting and ITS, drainage facilities and assisted with roadway design. We completed signal optimization for three existing signals, one new signal and a new roundabout, and completed a signalized intersection delay study. TREKK also developed and implemented a permanent signal timing plan and inspected signal construction in coordination with MoDOT and city staff.
