City of Belton Annual On-Call Engineering Services

City of Belton, Missouri

The city of Belton is a fast-growing suburban community south of Kansas City. For nearly 20 years, TREKK has partnered with Belton as its on-call engineering consultant, providing engineering planning and design to help the city make infrastructure decisions to support its growth and development.

TREKK helps Belton plan and manage its wastewater projects through Capital Improvement Plan development and three- to five-year targeted plans. These projects include developing Belton’s permanent flow monitoring program; managing and securing contractors to rehabilitate infrastructure; designing replacement/relief lines; developing and maintaining the city’s hydraulic model; updating its sewer master plan; and managing all SSES field investigation work, including sewer cleaning and televising, manhole inspections, smoke testing, and data analysis. Gravity sewer improvements improve capacity and support future growth. These projects include decommissioning lift stations, which help the city save on operating and maintenance costs.

TREKK also provides stormwater analysis and design to address erosion and alleviate residential flooding concerns, including the design of streambank stabilization projects. We have designed several water main replacements to improve water service.

TREKK often works as an extension of Belton’s staff, assisting with emergency situations like collapsed sewer lines, developing protocols, and conducting plan reviews for development projects.
