Fogerty Park Improvements

Fogerty Park is a nearly 100-year-old park located in University City, Missouri. The park’s aging amenities began showing signs of deterioration and needed updates to better serve the community. TREKK led design services to improve the park and help the city reach the goals outlined in the park’s master plan.
The project used a Municipal Park Grant, which required the completion of design and construction on a compressed timeline. TREKK designed the removal of a 6-foot-wide asphalt trail and replaced it with an ADA-compliant 8-foot-wide asphalt trail, with lighting around the trail, bioretention, amended soils, sidewalk reconstruction and an ADA-compliant sidewalk addition between the existing playground and restroom. TREKK also oversaw the design and completed the grading and drainage plan for a new splash pad connected to the existing playground on site.
The park is now a community destination with amenities for all ages to enjoy.
